Get in the Hole!
Glen has had the opportunity to experience two forms of golf in Korea, both hugely popular. There are few countries as passionate about golf as Korea, a country with millions of keen golfers who can't get enough of either regular golf or screen golf.
Most of the golf Glen has played has been on Jeju. The courses on Jeju range in price, but are all of a high caliber.
The first of the three Glen played was Nine Bridges a little public course, it is only 6 holes, you can go around it three times for your 18 holes. Not by any means an international course but it only costs $15 a round, so well worth it. Great too if you don’t have time for a full round.

The next course Glen played was Ecoland I think it was about $110, no caddies required and was stunning he saw pheasants, deer running across the fairways, very scenic course, well worth it. Quite a tight course with a number of hazards so really suited Glen’s game ;)
He then played Castlex a well known course in Korea, in fact he has played it on screen golf and for real. Similar cost to Ecoland but there is a caddy cost too. Castlex as been the host of LPGA events and is a beautiful course to play.

Screen golf is not as Glen experienced it in any other country. Being Korea the technology is amazing resulting in a far more realistic experience. As the picture below demonstrates if you’re in a bunker or on a uphill lie, the floor adjusts to ensure you are experiencing the same sensation as you would if the ball were above or below your feet. Pretty neat really. Other bonuses are it is very reasonable, you can eat, drink and it is always warm inside, so a great option in the winter!
Screen golf a fun and easy way to get a bit of golf in
